The Florensia Translation Team is currently looking for new active volunteer translators to support upcoming content updates, game improvements, and localization work.
As part of the Translation Team, your main responsibility will be translating and reviewing various types of in-game content, including quest texts, user interface elements, item and system descriptions, dialogues, announcements, and other game-related texts.
We are looking for translators for all officially supported Florensia languages:
German (DE), English (EN), French (FR), Spanish (ES), Italian (IT), Turkish (TR), and Portuguese (PT)
Translation work is not only about translating words directly. A good localization should feel natural in the target language while still preserving the original meaning, tone, terminology, and context of the game. Depending on the task, you may therefore also be asked to review existing translations, correct inconsistencies, or help improve terminology across different parts of Florensia.
‼ Please note ‼:
This is not a community-facing role such as Game Master or Event Team. The focus is entirely on translation and internal localization work.
As translators may receive access to upcoming content, systems, quests, items, or other information before their public release, all internal information must be treated confidentially. If you decide to apply, please do not publicly discuss your application or any internal information.
Previous experience with translation, localization, proofreading, or similar work is considered a strong advantage, but is not mandatory. A good understanding of Florensia and its terminology is especially helpful.
We are specifically looking for people who are willing to actively contribute over time. Joining the team purely to gain access to unreleased content or internal information is not tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the team. We are explicitly looking for translators who work independently and do not rely on AI-generated translations as the basis of their work.
