[EVENT] Draw Your Loadingscreen

Greetings Florensians,

we are excited to introduce a new creative community event for all artists and designers within Florensia.

With the Draw Your Loadingscreen Event, players will have the opportunity to create their own Florensia loading screen and leave a lasting mark on the game world.

The winning artwork will not only receive a special reward - it will also be implemented on the live server as an official loading screen visible to all players.

By participating, you agree to the Contest Terms, License Grant and Privacy Notice.

How to Participate

Create your own selfmade loading screen and send it via email to:

events@florensia-online.com

Your email must include:

  • Your Character Name / Character ID (for rewards)

  • Your submitted loading screen

  • The original project file

If your email exceeds 16 MB, please provide a download link (e.g. Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive) instead of attaching the file directly to the email.

Loading Screen Requirements

  • Minimum Resolution: 1280 × 768

  • Higher resolutions are allowed (e.g. 1280 × 1024 or other widescreen formats)

  • The loading screen must be completely selfmade

  • AI-generated artwork is not allowed

  • If AI usage is identified, the submission will be disqualified

  • Only one submission per participant is allowed

  • Participants may choose any Florensia dungeon as the theme for their loading screen (ED4, Outlaw Camp & Black Tide Cove is excluded)
  • The artwork should reflect the atmosphere, setting and identity of the selected dungeon

Accepted File Formats

To support the verification process and reduce AI-generated submissions, the following file formats are accepted:

  • .PSD

  • .PNG

Submission Deadline
Entries will only be accepted until August 9, 11:59 PM (CEST). Submissions received after this deadline cannot be considered.

Please note:

  • The original file must always be submitted together with the final image

  • The map or area shown in the loading screen is entirely up to the participant (ED4, Outlaw Camp & Black Tide Cove is excluded)

  • These borders will be added by us later and should be considered during the design process

  • Please avoid placing important elements near the edges of the image

Submissions have to help verify the authenticity of submitted artwork, we may request additional proof of creation if a submission raises reasonable concerns regarding AI usage.

Examples include:

  • A timelapse or screen recording of the creation process
  • Sketches or work-in-progress images
  • Original sketch or layer files (.PSD)

 

Participants are encouraged to keep these materials until the contest has concluded.

Terms & Conditions

  • Participants must be at least 16 years old. Minors require parental or legal guardian consent.
  • Submitted artwork must not infringe any third-party copyrights, trademarks or other intellectual property rights.
  • NSFW content is not permitted.
  • Third-party logos, trademarks or protected characters may not be used.
  • By submitting an entry, participants confirm that:
    • they created the artwork themselves
    • no AI-generated content was used
    • they have read and accepted the contest rules
    • they grant Florensia the required usage rights for the submitted artwork
    • they consent to the processing of their submitted data

License Grant

By participating, the creator grants Florensia a non-exclusive, worldwide and perpetual right to use the submitted artwork, including:

  • Use within the game as a loading screen
  • Use on websites, social media channels, trailers and other marketing materials
  • Necessary modifications such as cropping, color corrections or UI integration
  • Sharing with service providers, publishers or platforms where required for game distribution

The participant confirms that the artwork was created by them and agrees to indemnify Florensia against third-party claims arising from the submission.

Showcase & Selection

All submitted loading screens may be showcased on Discord and our social platforms so the community can admire the creativity of the participants.

To ensure fairness and avoid popularity-based voting or personal bias influencing the outcome, the winning loading screen will be selected directly by the Florensia Team.

Privacy Notice

Personal data submitted as part of this contest (such as character names, email addresses and submitted files) will be processed solely for the purpose of administering the event and distributing rewards.

By participating, entrants agree to the processing of their submitted data in accordance with Florensia's Privacy Policy.

Please note that submitted data may be stored and processed on servers located outside the European Union where required for the operation of the event and related services.

After the winner has been selected and the contest has concluded, the personal data of all non-winning participants will be deleted, unless retention is required by law. Submitted loading screens may continue to be used for contest-related publications on our official website and social media channels.
