Following the release of Update 2.6 – Black Tides, we have continued to review the new systems and the feedback surrounding them.
While the current implementation was working as intended, we have decided to make a few balancing adjustments to improve the overall experience and make the new systems feel more rewarding and sustainable in the long run.
With this hotfix, the Gelt prices of the affected recipes have been increased.
At the same time, the amount of Doubloons required for production through these recipes has also been increased.
These changes are intended to further strengthen the value of Doubloons and bring the overall recipe economy into a better balance.
We appreciate the amount of feedback we received after the update and have taken many of the points raised into consideration when reviewing these adjustments.
With Update 2.6, we introduced additional milestone rewards for leveling characters, including a 24 Bag Slot expansion at Level 60.
We have now decided to also grant this reward retroactively to characters that had already passed Level 60 before the update, ensuring that long-standing characters can benefit from this newly introduced milestone reward as well.
Please note that this retroactive grant is a one-time exception for this specific reward. Future rewards or progression milestones introduced through updates should not automatically be expected to be granted retroactively to characters that have already passed the respective requirements.
We want to keep the flexibility to introduce new progression rewards in the future without creating a general precedent that all newly added rewards must also be applied retroactively.
