[ANNOUNCEMENT] Bank, Personal Shops & player trading re-opened

Dear Florensians,

The maintenance has concluded. The bank, personal shops and player trading are back online.

We know many of you have been asking for details such as who was involved in the duplication exploit, what was taken and what the numbers look like. While we understand why these questions are being asked, we also want to make clear that we will not be sharing this information. What we can tell you is what we have done about it.

Part of why this situation went as far as it did is on us. We did not have the right safeguards and monitoring in place, and we should have. This is not something we take lightly. Since the exploit was discovered, we have made meaningful changes to how we monitor and protect the game's economy. We are confident in the measures we now have in place and we are committed to continuing to improve.

We are also aware that the timing was far from ideal and that an offline economy touches nearly everything in Florensia. We understand that - and your patience throughout genuinely means a great deal to us.

As a thank you, we are extending the 30% XP event on sea. This is also due to the issues with potions on sea which have now been fixed. Additionally, every character will find two small packages waiting for them in two separate mails containing the following:

  • 1x Fungi loot pet (30 days)
  • 1x Epic Luxury Boat (7 days)
  • 5x Magic Stone of Increased Move Speed at Sea III
  • 5x Horseshoe
  • 3x Phoenix Tail Feathers
  • 3x Golden Seahorse Tail
  • 3x Elixir
  • 1x Riding pet Dodo (7 days)

We have also extended the duration of timed items that were placed in character banks, account banks and personal shops to the time before we closed down those systems. Similarly, any lost time on the account bank will also be refunded automatically.

Lastly, we want to make clear that while we are re-opening the systems, it does not mean our investigation has concluded. We have successfully fixed the exploit and are confident that we tracked down and banned all accounts who directly used it. Our investigation into its broader impact, however, is ongoing.
