[Suggestion] Save Points

I think it would be nice to be able to have a save point for each map or one for each island at the very least.

This would make it nicer for those of us that like to help others. I could have a save point for my grinding spot on HP and still have one at the Study Room of Avery, the last save point for Tulach and another for Fox Den, etc... Maybe make it so that each island has it's own stone you have to buy.

The reason I truly came up with this is that I'm at the levels where you split your time between Avery and Hidden Port. The time spent traveling between the two areas really sux and this would be nice.

Would make boss farming worse...

ppl tele to lanny/brenin every hour and then tele back to grinding spot.

I thought about that, but I don't think it will make it worse; it is so bad now it cannot get worse. Having 5 characters on an account or people that have multiple accounts could have characters at any boss(es) ready to farm them. This would hardly make farming much worse than it already is. You would still have to be on the island to be able to activate the memory stone.

If not a stone (which is cool in thought) for instantanous teleportation. How about at least a ship or a plane one could board and that ship or plane would like cut traveling time by 90% between Islands. This way if you want to do sea quests or grind the sea, you would then board "your own" ship, but if you want to go to another island, you could hop aboard this other means of transporation.

Having a means of having "seperate" stones in your inventory so you can, when "on " that peticular island, transport back to the last save spot you saved at. So if you have a memory stone for exeter, a memory stone for magnel, a chester memory stone in your inventory, I see that as a cool thing.

As for the "campers" who are forever grinding bosses, until Florensia removes the incentives ( you do the quest, you get 1 drop and that's it, any further grinding produces zip nothing ) or makes the bosses level specific (example Lanny is L20-L27 "ONLY"), the grinding of bosses will never cease.

Just to clarify, this is not for hoping from island to island. You would still have to be on the island of the save you want to be transported to for the stone to work.

If I'm at Hidden Port I would have to travel to Exeter so I could use my save point at the Study Room in Avery. Once done there I would have to teleport to town sail to Hidden Port and then I could use my Save point at the Safe Area of the Lawless Zone.

From the last post I can see I didn't make that clear. Since we all know that save points and stones work on the island you are on I didn't think I needed to explain that fact, but I see I was incorrect. Looks like I need to spell everything out in layman terms from now on. There are already cards for teleporting from island to island. Personally I love the sea and even though I have cards I still sail everywhere.

It's a nice idea and all, but I agree with Heal. There simply are more boss farmers than helpers, and people who don't belong to either of these groups usually get along fine if they have their save spots at their most recent grinding spot.

I really don't think it will help farmers at all. People that farm Lanny normally cannot farm other bosses solo. If people are going to farm bosses on other islands they normally form a party or solo all the bosses repeatedly on just one island which is faster than trying to travel from island to island. Will people try and use it to farm bosses? Yes. Will it be a true benefit? Not really. Between travel time and killing time it would not really be beneficial when you can just spend the time going from boss to boss on one island and jumping channels. If I were to change my build I could repeatedly farm Lanny and Steel on both channels solo, but it would not really be worth the time. Not when I can form a party and farm either just the Gloshire bosses or the the Avery bosses on Par's 2 channels.

I was just giving thought to a more game friendly means of getting from island to island ( even if it were not to cost AP for a CS item, but perhaps 10,000-15,000 gelt to board a ship ). As for having individual island save stones in ones inventory that to I mentioned ( I think ).

Huh?

And I don't know exactly what you were referring to when you said you wanted those save points to help people. If it is, as I assume, by 90% for helping with bosses, then it would help "helpers" just as much as it does farmers, would it not?
And if you assume, or rather face the fact, that there are far more of the latter, then that'd bring us back to what I said before.
