Is this error fixable?

Postby Syrens on Tue Nov 03, 2009 11:07 pm

When I run the game, everything works fine until I try to talk to one of the npcs, then I get the C++ buffer overrun error and the game crashes. Now, before you get mad at me for not reading the stickies, I actually did check first to see if the error was correctable. However, when I downloaded and installed the recommended fixes for this problem, I tried again and it's still the same error and crash routine as ever. Is there any possible way, then, to fix this problem? Please, I'm not the best with the technical stuff, but if there is any chance I could fix this I would be really grateful!

EDIT: I must apologize for posting here without thoroughly through the different posts, but as I'm doing this I still have yet to find a solution. Please disregard this post, and again, I've very, very sorry for posting when I should not have.

1 possible answer is

If you install Florensia in a folder other than "C:\Netts" (e.g. "C:\Games\Netts"), you should uninstall it and install Florensia in the standard folder. This will solve the problem.
